Our educational program in Germany is aimed at merging the examination of the musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial, myofascial and neural systems into an integrated holistic examination procedure. We give strong emphasis on teaching physiotherapists developing their techniques and their understanding the continum of the human body.
The Academy's 60 Days, full time (4x15 Days) Courses offer a very intensive, hands-on experience.
In the creation of the new curriculum, we worked with practitioners from around the world, to develop the most comprehensive and intensive "manual therapy" program, we call it Advanced Manual and manipulative therapy and is flexible in meeting the diverse needs in practice.
We adapted the best elements of Manual medicine and designed a new concept whithout Dogmas, which provide a realistic manual therapy, a multifactorial approach to the examination and treatment procedure.
By evaluating and treating dysfunction within the musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial, myofascial and nervous systems, practitioners can help alleviate acute and chronic pain and ailments, using a variety of manual techniques.
The examination process developed by The European Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy draws a concept based on the works of A. T. Still, Palmer, DeJarnette, Lewit and Kaltenborn.
We believe that the merger of the work of these manual therapy Experts into one concept provides, a multifactorial approach to the examination and treatment procedure.
The courses will enable practitioners especialy physical therapists to expand their range of treatable conditions and to achieve more effective results than conventional manual therapy practitioners.
, sot,
"To be a good manual therapist is not done "by learning tons of theory".
It is done by immersion in the process and by knowing "why" and "how. By working in a series of cases, and by working hands-on, day to day.
